From Babies to Houses

It's hard to transition from the focus of my other blog to writing about custom homes. Let's see if I can tie them together. My other blog focuses on my son, Jameson, whereas this blog will focus on our family business, Scott White Company. Which in a way, is like the sibling I never had........well, that's a bit of a stretch. I might say that our schnauzer is like the sibling I never had or even that my dad is like the sibling I never had, but to say that about a company would be a little too poetic for me. Nonetheless, the company has been a huge part of my life and it's with pride that I drive down streets in Lytle and Devine and admire the houses my mom & dad have built over the years.

My role in the company has transitioned from answering phones ("Hello, Scott White Instruction", instead of "Construction") to picking up trash & cleaning windows to creating the company website to doing the books and taxes. With Jameson in my life, it's been harder and harder to keep up with updating the website. So, I figured I would start a blog that would allow me to more easily keep Scott White Co. current on the web. I'll use it to post pictures of houses we have under construction, interesting tidbits about building, and perhaps the occasional witty construction story. Here are a few of my favorite past houses to kick things off...
